The common question that gets asked in business is, ‘why?’ That’s a good question, but an equally valid question is, ‘why not?’ -Jeffrey Bezos, Owner/Founder of Amazon
I recently learned that Amazon has already cleared $17.09 Billion in the 3rd quarter this year, 2013, an increase of 24% from 2012.Here is a Viral YouTube Video of Jeff Besos giving Princeton’s Baccalaureate Address to the graduating class of 2010. Besos graduated from Princeton in 1986 with a degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering:
Walmart.com, by stark contrast has projected a paltry $10 Billion by end of FY 2013.
Amazon, for good reason, is now being called the “…Walmart of the post-2000 period”, said Matt Nemer, an analyst at Wells Fargo.
So, be inspired on this Monday morning because Amazon cannot “hold a candle” to you.
How can we say that? You may ask. Jeff Besos is “worth billions”!
Because every person is priceless! YOU are priceless! You are a person, aren’t you? 😉
So, like in the Jeff Besos quote above, if you feel down on this Monday morning and every time you feel yourself about to ask yourself “why am I trying to build this business”? Just ask yourself “why NOT build my dreams”?!
Why NOT build your dreams?
