Albert Einstein, one of the most intelligent minds in history, makes a strong point here.

Being a success is almost a selfish goal, because you’re striving to be a success for yourself.  If you are striving to be of value, you are striving to help others!

If you want to help yourself, then help others first!  NOTHING helps yourself more than focusing on others’ needs.  It’s kind of a mysterious notion, but it works!  If you never try this and remain selfish;  you will never learn it!
